A: No, VirtuaLAN is strictly a VPN which creates a network between connected clients only. VirtuaLAN does not (and will not) route client internet traffic.
A: VirtuaLAN is as secure as any LAN party event network; that is, you can be fairly certain that clients running from the official hosts of the network can be trusted, but there are no guarantees that your fellow clients can be trusted.
