VirtuaLAN Open Beta
VirtuaLAN is now entering it’s Open Beta phase for regular users in the Discord! Any user with sufficient permissions in the Discord server may now access the #virtualan channel and request membership. Read on for more details about the Open Beta phase.
The Open Beta of VirtuaLAN is now accessible to all regular members of the Discord. As long as you at least have the Members role in the server (automatically assigned according to the length of time you’ve been in the server), you may request access to the VPN.
Some other small details about this phase of the test period:
- There will be scheduled stress-tests announced in the
#virtualanchannel; it is requested all active users participate in these if at all possible, so we may ascertain better real-world metrics regarding concurrent user/bandwidth limitations. - This phase of the test is currently scheduled indefinitely.
- At some point we will be attempting an automated registration system for the network; we will announce when this system is ready for deployment.
